Dawid Konotey-Ahulu CBE DL Co-founder,mallowstreet
Dawid is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded Redington and mallowstreet with Robert Gardner. Dawid remains involved in mallowstreet as a Board Director.
Most recently Dawid co-founded The #10000BlackInterns programme with Jonathan Sorrell (President of Capstone Investment Advisers), Michael Barrington-Hibbert (founder of Barrington-Hibbert Associates), and Wol Kolade (Managing Partner of Livingbridge), the group which founded #100BlackInterns in August 2020.
Through the #100BlackInterns initiative, leading players in the investment management industry have come together to address the chronic underrepresentation of Black talent in that sector. Since its launch, the programme has garnered extraordinary support with 200 investment management companies offering internships in the Summer of 2021 to Black students in the United Kingdom as a way of attracting a more diverse range of talent to their industry.
Following the launch of #100BlackInterns, the #10000BlackInterns initiative has been designed to help transform the horizons and prospects of young Black people in the United Kingdom. The 10,000 Black Interns programme will offer paid work experience across a wide range of sectors, providing training and development opportunities and creating a sustainable cycle of mentorship and sponsorship for the Black community.

Peter Wallach Peter Wallach, Director of Pensions (LGPS), Merseyside Pension Fund
Peter is Director of Pensions at MPF and is responsible for all aspects of the fund, its collaboration with the Northern LGPS Investment Pool partner funds, and a member of the GLIL supervisory board.
He has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MPF, he worked as an investment manager at Close Wealth Management managing a global balanced portfolio. His career commenced in private banking, with Coutts Bank, where he undertook a variety of portfolio management and client support roles at the Bank.
A governor at Chester University, he also holds an MBA from Sheffield Hallam University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Aman Johal Managing Director, Head of Social Outcomes, Better Society Capital
Aman leads Better Society Capital’s investment and market building of social outcomes partnerships, an approach pioneered in the UK that aims to improve the lives of people with complex needs while creating better value in public service delivery.
Before joining Better Society Capital, Aman worked for J.P. Morgan, leading the firm’s philanthropic programme across the UK on employment and skills. During her time there she also played a leadership role in the roll out of signature programmes and in building the visibility of the impact of the firm’s philanthropic efforts across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this she held a number of positions across the non-profit and public sectors in the UK, including at the Young Foundation, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in public affairs for a national health charity and as a caseworker for a benevolent fund working on the frontline to administer support to beneficiaries.

David Moreton Partner and Head of LGPS Investment, Barnett Waddingham
David is the Head of LGPS Investment at Barnett Waddingham leading the team focused on providing specialist LGPS investment advice. David also oversees the integration of the investment team with the wider LGPS proposition across actuarial and governance currently utilised by around one quarter of LGPS Funds. David is an experienced partner with over 20 years’ experience advising pension funds of all sizes and types, including advising very large funds on all aspect of their investment governance. David is also a committed proponent of sustainability in investment and was one of the senior leadership team who founded the Sustainable Investment Team at BW. David has tremendous enthusiasm for building and developing teams and has contributed significantly to the growth of the Investment Team, particularly in both Cheltenham and Bristol. David is a passionate advocate of the culture of Barnet Waddingham.
