mallowstreet Dinner: The Coming Capital Cycle

The world has changed. Few saw it coming, but we all know it’s here. Geopolitical standoffs. Inflation. A positive cost of capital. A step up in equity market volatility. We have entered a new and different capital cycle and that is going to impact radically on the type of companies that will outperform over the next 5—10 years.

This year’s late winter rally is good news for investors, but it is unlikely to set the pattern for the future. Some will sustain their upward path based on strong fundamentals, but others will fall by the wayside. We see the coming cycle as favouring the physical. The virtual winners of the past are unlikely to be the winners of the future. Significantly more capital is likely to go into infrastructure, manufacturing and resources, trends that will support the growing need for supply-chain resilience and the desire to drive the energy transition.

This event is FREE to attend for investment decision makers and their advisers, and is accredited for CPD points by the Pensions Management Institute (PMI).
