In the fast changing world we operate in, infrastructure represents one constant with the ongoing long term need for quality infrastructure to support society.

Over dinner, Hamish Lea-Wilson, Director, European Direct Infrastructure, will talk about various aspects of the opportunity set and the current market place, including a look at the risk and return profile of alternative strategies within direct infrastructure. He will also talk about the way that value can be created within core infrastructure.

Hamish Lea-Wilson Director, European Direct Infrastructure
Hamish Lea-Wilson is a Director in the European Direct Infrastructure team at First State Investments ('FSI').
In his role, Hamish is responsible for the day-to-day management of transactional activity including origination and execution of investment opportunities.
Prior to joining FSI in June 2008, Hamish spent three years in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Infrastructure Advisory Group, advising on PFI concession bids, infrastructure asset acquisitions and refinancings across the health, roads, aviation and defence sectors. He also completed a secondment at Infrastructure Investors Ltd, (an infrastructure fund) where he assisted in the restructuring of the fund prior to its sale.
Hamish has a Bachelor of Economics from Durham University and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
